I work as a freelance journalist for major dailies, magazines and online. Since August 2008, I have worked part time as an Exhibition Writer for Auckland Museum in New Zealand.

I've had work published in New Zealand Herald's Viva lifestyle magazine, The Press' Zest magazine, The Herald on Sunday and numerous national magazines, including NZ Listener and Next. I recently worked as a stringer for the Irish Independent. I cover a variety of topics, with an emphasis on food, fashion and design. In search of a good story, I’ve walked the length of Wellington’s fashion district in high heels, scoffed dishes by celebrated chefs and poked around in designer homes.

SOME STORY HIGHLIGHTS...
I recently covered a story for the Irish Independent about Ireland's Health Minister Mary Harney's visit to New Zealand. I've was also head writer for Auckland Museum's latest exhibition Kai to Pai: Auckland on your Plate, a celebration of Auckland's food history and culture.

Check out my articles on behind-the-scenes at Savour for The Press and "eating local" for Good magazine. In 2008, I went to London where I feasted at top restaurants, shared shopping secrets with personal shopper Rachel Meddows and toured Marylebone Farmers Market with foodie writer Sudi Piggot. Back in New Zealand, I profiled fashion designers showing at the 2007 Fashion Week for Viva. I also profiled a professor 'declutterer' for the Sept 07 Next magazine, revisited Kaikora for a travel article in Eclipse magazine and profiled Australian photographer Tim Griffith for World magazine. In 2006,  I toured Wanaka ski resorts for a travel story in Next magazine.
